Amish Yard is an established Amish retailer of both wooden and poly-vinyl outdoor furniture. They also sell a large line of outdoor buildings, sheds and structures such as pavilions, pergolas and gazebos. All of their furniture is handcrafted by Amish craftsman in Ohio. Amish Yard was looking to update their website and bring it more inline with current design trends. Bluehive Interactive worked with them the bring the website over from Bigcommerce to WooCommerce. This transition posed several obstacles – migration of thousands of customer records, tens of thousands of past order histories, thousands of products and hundreds of customer reviews. We began the process by coming up with a new design. The goal of the new site was to not only make the site look better, but to increase conversions and provide a more user friendly platform for the Amish Yard staff to make ongoing edits to the website, as well as to provide them with an opportunity to engage in content marketing via their new blog. The website included the creation of almost 100 pages of content and hundreds of updated products. We like to think that in the end, the website not only shows off the unique character of the brand, but also provides a wonderful shopping experience too.
